Position Details
COMPANY PROFILE
Voice Directed Tally Systems, Inc. is a Belleville-based technology company providing an innovative data gathering solution to the Lumber, Forestry and Agriculture industries. We provide enterprise-wide hybrid solutions that result in process improvement and increased workflow efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Software Development: Design, develop and deploy scalable applications across the full software development lifecycle.
- Coding & Optimization: Write clean, maintainable and efficient code. Maintain and optimize code for performance, scalability and security.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Team Lead and development team to define and implement solutions.
- Testing & Debugging: Participate in code reviews, write unit tests and troubleshoot software defects to ensure smooth functionality.
- DevOps – CI/CD: Collaborate with teams to ensure systems are built and deployed via automated continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Documentation: Write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for APIs, systems and processes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 1+ years of proven professional experience. Will consider new grad.
- Programming Languages: Proficient in Android, Java, Kotlin, SQL, MySQL, HTML.
- Frameworks: Hands-on experience with modern frameworks: Node.js, React, Spring Boot.
- Tools and Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Python and Image Recognition
- Knowledge of the appropriate use of AI in coding
