Simon
Simon is our Software Development Team Lead with the VDTS, Inc. team. He has been with the VDTS team since 2011 and enjoys deciphering what our clients want and need to make the software perform optimally for them. As a former competitive skater, Simon’s athletic mindset transferred into his incredible ability to remain hyper-focused and persevere to ensure every code in our software is optimized. In his spare time, Simon enjoys viewing old films, skating and gaming.
Jake
Jake is one of our Software Developers with the VDTS, Inc. team. He has over 10 years of experience in the industry utilizing his Bachelor of Information Technology with a specialization in game design and entrepreneurship. Jake’s passion for software development is rooted in the concept that the puzzle has utility. Figuring out how each piece of code is put together in a particular sequence to ensure the program performs the way it is intended. In his spare time, Jake enjoys writing, watching movies and being creative as well as being an avid gamer.
Kishor
Kishor is responsible for maintaining and updating financial information for VDTS. He has been working in Finance/Administration area for over 13 years and continues to enjoy this field of work. Originally from Nepal, Kishor made Canada home over 10 years ago and became a proud Canadian citizen over 5 years ago. Outside of work, Kishor likes to travel and spend time with his family. Kishor is also a big soccer fan and follows different leagues around the world.
Lucius
Lucius is one of our Software Developers with the VDTS, Inc. team. He is forever a tinkerer and lover of tech who finally took the plunge into software development. His previous areas of study including economic/international development and psychology/neuroscience finally led him to study computer programming and he has not turned back. In his spare time, you can find Lucius growing things, rescuing wildlife, and raising livestock and pets.
Dave
Dave is our Distribution Specialist with the VDTS, Inc. team. With extensive experience in robotics, PLC programming and 20+ years in technical roles in the hardwood industry, Dave is a natural fit in maintaining the hardware inventory we use for our software solutions. As a natural solution seeker, Dave enjoys problem-solving and improving well-being for oneself and others.
Pat
Pat is our Human Resource and Customer Service Manager with the VTDS, Inc. team. She enjoys interacting with our staff, engaging with clients and everyone that would like to learn more about our voice driven hands-free technology. While Pat considers herself the only non-technical person of the team, she is exposed to new technical concepts each day to support her role with customer service operations. As a life-long learner, Pat is an avid reader of historical fiction and theology. She particularly enjoys connecting with family and friends as well as going for long walks to forest bathe.
Dave
Dave’s background is in the I.T. sector where for over 25 years he worked as both a general manager and consultant. Dave founded VDTS after discovering Voice Recognition as an effective tool for hands free data gathering. Dave’s travels have gained clients in forestry, lumber manufacturing, and agriculture. Dave is an avid reader and a student of acoustic fingerstyle guitar.
